The study of ballet affords challenges which stimulate development and growth in physical coordination and grace, learning, and creativity and cultural appreciation. CPDW recognizes that not every child has access to the benefits that dance provides and that our status as a 501(c)(3) non-profit uniquely places us to fill this need in our community.  The Children's Scholarship Program provides financial support for children who might otherwise be unable to experience the joys and benefits of dance.  

 

Students are chosen twice a year at a special audition, and scholarships are awarded on the basis of talent and financial need. Children enrolling in PreBallet, Beginning Ballet, Intermediate Ballet, and Advanced Ballet, ages 6-14, are invited to audition.
